About the Role:
As the Plumber at Cordis Auckland, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of plumbing systems across our iconic multi-storey hotel. You’ll take ownership of daily plumbing activities, oversee repairs, troubleshoot challenges, and ensure compliance with safety and building codes .
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and carry out all plumbing maintenance and repair work.
- Troubleshoot issues, inspect systems, and implement effective solutions.
- Interpret blueprints and floor plans to carry out projects efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with NZ plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with contractors and other trades as required.
- Maintain detailed records of work completed
What We’re Looking For:
- Must hold a valid New Zealand plumbing certification.
- Proven experience as a plumber, with a strong understanding of plumbing systems in multi-storey buildings.
- Skilled in pipe cutting, bending, and installation techniques.
- Familiarity with NZ plumbing codes and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Confident using plumbing tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload.
