Key Responsibilities
- Walk through poultry sheds to monitor bird health and conditions
- Collect, grade, and pack eggs accurately
- Clean and maintain sheds and work areas
- Follow strict biosecurity and animal welfare procedures
- Comply with shower-on and shower-off protocols
- Use provided safety equipment and uniforms correctly
- Work cooperatively with team members to meet daily tasks
- Follow supervisor instructions and workplace guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene at all times
Requirements
- Physically fit and capable of manual work
- Willingness to work weekends and flexible days
- Ability to work in rural farm locations
- Valid driver’s licence and access to reliable transport
- Must meet strict biosecurity requirements
- Cannot keep pet birds, poultry, or pigs at home
- Cannot live with anyone employed at another poultry or pig farm
- Comfortable working in dusty, noisy, and smelly environments
- Valid work rights in Australia
