Key Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
- Dust furniture and vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
- Make beds, change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries
- Stock linen closets and maintain housekeeping supplies
- Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and clean changing rooms and showers
- Handle and report lost and found items
- Address guest requests for extra supplies or assistance
- Provide basic information about motel facilities
- Pick up debris, empty trash containers, and maintain cleanliness throughout the property
- Ensure all areas comply with hygiene, safety, and motel standards
Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to work full-time 40 hours per week, including weekends and various shifts (morning, day, night)
- Physical capability to perform demanding housekeeping tasks, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for long periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently
