Responsibilities
As a Cleansing Crew Member, you will play a hands-on role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the city. Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and maintaining roads, footpaths, laneways, and public spaces
- Performing manual labour tasks while working outdoors
- Operating and driving small cleansing vehicles
- Collecting and managing waste and recyclable materials
- Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational goals
- Ensuring safety standards and procedures are followed at all times
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Physically fit and capable of lifting, bending, and manual handling
- Demonstrated experience in manual labour roles
- Hold a current Class C driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Availability to work weekdays, some weekends, and public holidays
- Ability to complete pre-employment health declaration and medical assessment
