Role Description
This is a full-time position for a Professional Cleaner/Housekeeper within Shelburne County. You will be an integral part of a generous and supportive team, responsible for maintaining our high standards of sanitation and presentation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Residential & Deep Cleaning:Â Executing detailed cleaning plans (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing) for private homes.
- Airbnb/Rental Turnover:Â Managing strict checkout windows, changing linens, restocking amenities, and inspecting properties for damage or missing items to ensure 5-star guest experiences.
- Move-In/Move-Out:Â Performing intensive deep cleans to prepare properties for new tenants or owners.
- Safety & Compliance:Â Adhering to strict safety protocols, using professional-grade equipment, and handling chemicals safely in accordance with WHMIS standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Mandatory:Â A clear Criminal Record Check.
- Mandatory: Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle (travel to various job sites across the South Shore is required).
- Mandatory:Â WHMIS certification (or willingness to obtain immediately upon hiring).
- Experience:Â Previous experience in professional housekeeping or hotel management is a strong asset, though we provide training to meet our specific standards.
- Tech-Savvy:Â Comfortable using mobile apps for scheduling and checklists (e.g., When I Work).
- Physical Capabilities:Â Must have the stamina to stand, bend, lift, and work actively for full shifts.
