Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, pipes, fixtures, and water distribution networks in accordance with relevant codes.
- Maintain automatic flushing valves, roof-level vent pipes, roof rainwater outlets, and fat traps in kitchen areas.
- Conduct regular maintenance, including the use of chemicals for cleaning soil and stack pipes.
- Review building plans and specifications to determine plumbing layouts and material requirements.
- Install supports and hangers for pipes, fixtures, and equipment, and ensure all connections are secure.
- Maintain and repair underground storm, sanitary, and water piping systems, as well as water heaters and conditioners.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold IHG’s high standards of True Hospitality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in plumbing, including installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial plumbing systems.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, safety procedures, and plumbing best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver plumbing materials and tools as needed.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and supporting team collaboration.
- Legal authorization to work in the country of application.
