The Opportunity
Senior Software Engineer, you will own the design, development, and deployment of critical services within our core backend platform. You will tackle complex challenges in distributed systems, data consistency, and high-volume transaction processing. This is a rare opportunity to shape our technology, culture, and product from the early stages.
What You’ll Do
- Design & Build: Architect, develop, and deploy robust, scalable, and secure microservices.
- Own Systems: Take full ownership of critical backend systems—from design and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and operations. We live and breathe extreme ownership.
- Ensure Reliability: Build for “five-nines” reliability in a financial context. Implement comprehensive observability, alerting, and fault-tolerant patterns.
- Work hand-in-hand with the founders, product, and directly with enterprise customers to translate complex requirements into elegant technical solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- System Design Mastery: A track record of designing, building, and maintaining complex, scalable, and highly reliable distributed systems. Experience in fintech, payments, or a heavily regulated space (banking, healthcare) is a huge plus.
- Ownership Mindset: You are resourceful and proactive. You don’t just write code; you see problems, own outcomes, and drive solutions from conception to production.
- Quality & Reliability: You write clean, testable code and are passionate about patterns that ensure system resilience.
